The sweet spot for me is 128 gb, and i'll swap them in and out from time to time. Sometimes not able to recognize them. Memory cards wear out, there is a maximum number of times they can be written to.

I have tried several all get a message that the card is slow. A 1tb card is a bit spendy (relatively), but 256gb cards are so cheap there's no. I have a few of them and about half.
Hello everyone, i flew the mini 4k for the first time recently, and i saw a popup message warning me of a slow sd card.
I have a couple of sandisk extreme plus cards in 128gb but the air 3s just doesn't use them reliably. I opted to install both my controller and drone with gigastone 256gb sd cards while i'm just getting my flight practice to familiarize myself with all the things the air 3 offers. Don't go and buy the biggest one available (air 2 will accept cards up to 256 gb), but rather get few smaller ones (32 gb, 64 gb) in case of crashes, flyaway, sd card failure. If you value your recordings, and ever fly more than one battery, one card per drone is not.
I'm wondering how the still picture. Consider 2 smaller cards rather than 1 larger card. You should be changing the card with every battery swap. Both the drone and the controller have sd card slots.
What memory card are you finding to be the best/fastest for use with the mini 3?
I realize the value for storage but i would like to know the value of putting an sd card in both the drone and. As @lannes says, always bear in mind the possibility of losing the drone, along with whatever is stored on the sd card in it,. I use either sandisk or samsung v30 cards, which are on sale pretty often on amazon.
